Aromatherapy involves the use of essential oils, which have been extracted from carefully selected plants and trees, to promote and maintain vitality.

When combined with massage, the therapeutic qualities of essential oils encourage healthier and more regular sleep patterns, help tired/ aching muscles, improve circulation, lower heart rate and reduce toxins.

Acupressure and reflexology techniques are incorporated into aromatherapy massage.

Essential oils have an effect on the emotional as well as the psychological levels. It helps to promote and restore the balance between the mind and body, thus helping prevent disease. If illness or mechanical damage does occur, essential oils can stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself.

Different oils have differing effects on various parts of the body and can be used in massage, steal inhalations, diffusers, burners, compresses or cosmetic/topical preparations.

IMPORTANT: Only Lavender or Tea Tree may be applied neat. With all other oils use a carrier and DO NOT exceed the recommended dose.

The face mirrors our emotions, conveys our thoughts and is the first thing people notice about us.

Like the rest of the body, the face is made up of skin, muscles and nerves and by giving it some attention it’s appearance can be enhanced too. For example, the muscles round the eyes are closely connected with the nervous system and as the skin in this area is very thin, nervous tension brought on by strain, worry, stress or loss of sleep soon shows around these areas.

Aromatherapy Facial Massage combines massage, acupressure and essential oils to create an extremely effecting treatment for the following reasons:-

  • Stimulates circulation of blood and lymph
  • Stimulates the immune system
  • Reduces muscular tension
  • Can help relieve pain
  • May help reduce high blood pressure

Due to the structure of the body’s electromagnetic fields, the acupressure points worked on the face affect areas within the body itself. In fact your whole body will respond, resulting in a feeling of relaxation and well-being.
